Over 12 hours were completed at Estell Manor Park this past weekend. Due to a shortage of project materials, the pond project was not started. It was assessed however for a future date (to be determined). Instead of working on the pond, several projects were completed at the Park to prepare it for the spring. Special thanks to everyone who showed!

Arrowhead ImageJersey Shore Council Launches New Website
Submitted by: Admin (2/11/08)

Frankenstein It's ALIVE!!!
Submitted by: Admin (2/9/08)

Need we say more? First, I think we should all thank Mr. Rob Stawicki for his work on the previous site. Much of what he accomplished is at the heart of this new design. His help and insights during the development of the site can not be understated. Thank you Mr. Stawicki!

With that said, we need to look at what this new site offers and what is still planned. The number one goal here is to help find ways to improve communication. Frequent updates will be a feature of this site. Timely documents and an expanded calendar should help everyone be more aware of Lodge events. A very important component is the Camp Service list, which will be updated as often as we receive information from Council & Citta staff.

A hope for the future is to add a bulletin board service, gallery, expanded historical records, a section for the Chapters, and other features...as YOU request them. This site is only a shell of what it can be. For it to truly florish, it will require YOUR input and guidance. Anytime you wish to lend a story, news item, suggestion, or <gasp> a complaint, just use the Contact Us page or email the Co-Advisor directly.

A small pond will be drained and cement will be added to the bottom of the pond to replace the plastic liner that leaks. Please bring equipment that would help (buckets, shovels, etc.), a pair of gloves, and a Cheerful Spirt. Anyone with experience in working with cement is strongly encouraged to attend. Email Marian Jordan with questions. The other project will be worked on at the next regularly scheduled meeting for the South Chapter. Mother's Day cards will be made for Veterans currently residing in nursing care facilities.

Also, please take a look at Lodge Officers page for Committee vacancies. You can fill a very important position just by filling out the form on the Contact Us page.
