Banquet Update - February 2008
Mr. McGuire reports the expected cost is $455 for Conclave. But the most imporant news is about availability. As of the banquet, only 2 seats remained available. Mr. Goldsmith has reported that the Lodge is endeavoring to secure more seats on the two scheduled flights.
General Lodge Update - January 2008
Mr. McGuire is reporting that the expected cost is now expected to be approximately $450. A $150 dollar deposit is required upon your reservation via the Conclave Site. You can submit your fee either to the Service Center in the Shore Mall or to Council Offices. This cost is an update over previous information made available in early December.
No transportation arrangements have been made to get to and from the airport, but we expect that there will be some program offered once we have our contingent in place.
Japeechen Lodge has reserved 20 seats for Brothers to attend the Conclave. Already several seats are taken, so do not delay in placing your reservation and sending in your deposit - the remaining seats will fill up fast. This promises to be a unique experience!

It is recommended that you register online using http://ne2aconclave.org/cms/ then send your payment ASAP into Jersey Shore Council BSA. Please do not wait to register until the last minute if you want to take advantage of the group deal for reduced airfare. Spaces are very limited so resrve yours today! You also have the option of making personal travel arrangements if you wish to."

Specifics as of December 2007
Only 150 seats have been reserved on 2 flights out of Newark Airport for our section. The ticket cost is $259.50 per person, with $45 additional for taxes and surcharges. Final cost (appoximate - pending taxes and surcharges), to include all travel arrangements and fees is expected to be $391 per person. Travel time will include driving to Newark Airport, the flight, and a 2 1/2 hour drive from the airport in Puerto Rico to the location of the Conclave. From what we've seen of the camp, it should be a great location!
2009 Conclave - Citta
It's time to get to work! Planning a Conclave isn't a walk in the park. We'll need every Brother to pull their weight in getting Citta ready for what will be the biggest NE-2A Conclave ever!

Conclave Chairman and Advisor Announcement
Brothers, 2009 will be Japeechen Lodge's turn to host the section conclave. We will need a theme for the weekend. Please think of a theme that we could possibly use for the event. Please pass the word around to your OA brothers. If you have any suggestions you can e-mail them to us!
