May Ordeal Summary
Submitted by: Mr. McGuire (5/12/08)
The weather may not have been particularly cooperative on Friday night, but with 62 new Ordeal members and 25 members sealing their bonds in Brotherhood, the weekend was a tremendous success. Other highlights included completing our pledge to the Susan G. Komen Breast for Cure group for cancer research - a total of $10,000 in contributations have been made. Our 15th Anniversary Lodge Flap was introduced to many rave reviews. Special thanks must also go out to the Elangomats and Ceremonies Team!
We are all looking forward to the next Ordeal weekend scheduled June 6-8. We expect to see many of our new Ordeal members and Brothers return for another great weekend of Brotherhood, Cheerfulness, and Service. Don't forget, if you've been an Ordeal Honor member of the Lodge for over 10 months and would like to seal your ties in Brotherhood, you can do so at the June Ordeal.
Ordeal Reminder and a Technical Glitch...
Submitted by: Admin (5/4/08)
First, I want to remind everyone that this coming weekend is our May Ordeal. I look forward to seeing many new brothers attend this wonderful chance to grow on your Scouting path. Secondly, I do want to apologize for the Lodge site being down temporarily. We had a bit of a glitch, but as you can see it's back up and running. I'd like to thank Mr. Stawicki for expediting fixing the issue and for reposting the older site for a few days so at least our Brothers didn't think we completely disappeared.

Over 12 hours were completed at Estell Manor Park this past weekend. Due to a shortage of project materials, the pond project was not started. It was assessed however for a future date (to be determined). Instead of working on the pond, several projects were completed at the Park to prepare it for the spring.
