The Japeechen Lodge website is an online presence created by and maintained by volunteers of the Lodge. The principle goals of the website are to:
- Provide a positive and ethical presence for Japeechen Lodge brothers to refer to.
- Foster strong communication from Japeechen Lodge to its members.
- Encourage the four principle goals of the Order of the Arrow.
- Offer an opportunity to highlight accomplishments and events sponsored by Japeechen Lodge.
All images used on the site fall into one of four categories:
- Public domain
- Purchased (clipart and other related products)
- Used with artist/photographer/owner permission
- Created or taken by members of Japeechen Lodge
As such and unless otherwise noted, all images should be considered as copyrighted and may not be used on other websites or publications - electronic or print. All items (with the exception of those obtained and used by permission) are to be considered the property of Japeechen Lodge, not any one individual. Queries regarding the usage of any text or image should be referred to a Co-Advisor of the website.
It is the policy of Japeechen Lodge to protect youth and adult members to the best of its abilities. No photos will be used without express written consent. No email addresses will be made available for youth members.
If adults wish to have their email addresses removed from the site or if a youth wishes to have his name removed, a request submitted by email will be acted upon as quickly as possible (usually within 24 hours).
All external links have been tested to the best of those responsible for the website to be free of any questionable material or advertising. Any link that becomes 'dead' or redirected should be reported so it may be removed until it can be updated.
All postings to the website must conform to the Scout Oath & Law. The ideals of Brotherhood, Cheerfulness, and Service should also be met at all times.
Questions regarding any materials posted should be directed to one of the Co-Advisors for the website. Suggestions, concerns, and complaints are all welcomed.
